کم اولادی بیغمی استه

[Less children, less care. ]

Little wealth, little care.

He has nothing need fear to lose nothing.

نه گال دروم نه گنجشکو ره کیش مونوم

[Neither I have millet farm, nor whisk away sparrows] A beggar can never be bankrupt.

If we have not the world’s wealth, we have the world’s ease.

دوز دَ کوی خو چم نموشه

[ The thief will not fit to his/her homevillage]

A thief doth fear each bush an officer. (W. Shakespeare)

کالا ره قدر جان شی ببرو

[cut his/her clothes according to his/her body size]

Cut your coat according to your cloth;

Don’t bite off more than you can chew.

ساده بیرار دیونه یه

[ A simpleton is brother of fool ]

The receiver is as bad as the thief.
